Is Muay Thai a good beginner martial art, stupid question but i need to know.

I like this

ballpin hammer beats all arts and artists, even the world champ, but this was a pretty good move.the one thing about muay thai is its a sport with rules people train for(not grion kicks therefore no drills to kick the groin an no drills to protect for it(you see fights stopped for it all the time)muay thai fighters are always open to this but in the ring its a foul.Don't get me wrong, I love muay thai and pay good money to have my daughter learn it and mma.Streets differant than the ring

What bullshit when you fight a guy on the street it never goes on like when you practiced in class. Watch "Sammy Franco first strike" beating someone is briging your hands up faking that you dont want to fight and strike the head of your oponent first he will be suprised and destabilised by your first hit then you continue striking the head until hes down, ounce down continue to kick the head then run lol!
when you parry he can tag you with his left before you elbow strike

what if the left hand of the other fighter hook?
Marcusdionisios1 10 months ago
@Marcusdionisios1 the hook wouldnt be powerful because he is being forced to lean over. Unless the opponent is a professional fighter, his first intention in that position is to break free from the arm lock. He wouldnt have time to think anyway, all that is done under four seconds.

in my opinoin, if this was done, as you say, on the street, it would be over and done with in under 3 seconds. and lets face it as cinoh said, knee someone in the face and they are going to be stunned for a second or two ;-) or the may just drop to the floor!
anyway, nice video! i was thinking, would it be worth adding a leg kick before you push away? so you wrap the arm, knee to the face, low roundhouse to the leading leg, then push away etc? or better to get out of the clinch fast?

@leboosh what i would do is just flee the scene as fast as I can. you never know whats on the opponents reach.
