Latin America Broadens Its Horizons
Following a series of regional elections, voters in the major Latin American economies have made a clear choice to turn their back on the macroeconomic excesses of the past and resist populist temptations to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the global marketplace. The region's new leaders must now forge fresh approaches while overcoming "reform fatigue".

2) Will voters support the further liberalization of economies? What significant policy shifts might we expect?
3) How are Latin American leaders adjusting their economies to take advantage of such new factors as rapid growth in Asia? How will Latin America's new export markets impact their foreign policy priorities, particularly with the US?
