  • Just curious, but was Tom Kennedy a substitute host??

  • He was, and then he became permanent host.

  • This ain't full credits. If only the production co. is shown, it's short credits. Full credits would list director, producers, writers, RESEARCHERS (hi Chris), and technical staff.

  • Its bette then GSN's credit crunches!

  • A game show episode is never complete without the closing credits! BRING THEM BACK GSN!!!! AND INQUIZITION!!!!

  • What's "Inquizition"? I Never seen it before

  • @secondchance1977 Bill Cullen, who was hosting "Chain Reaction" subsitituted Allen in April 1980, during his cancer treatment. In an ironic "chain reaction" of substitute hosting, Geoff Edwards subbed fo Bill on his show that time.

  • This must be from December 1980 because Tom Kennedy said he wishes Allen Ludden a Merry Christmas so it must be early on in the Kennedy era and not long after Allen left Password Plus. But Allen would unfortunately only be living for another 6 months at this point.

  • I remember a couple years ago on GSN, when GSN Live was on 12PM-3PM Eastern, they would often leave this show uncrunched (but still no fee plugs).

  • @ACuriousDanceretc

Thank you very much for your help, I always got confused when I saw Tom Kennedy hosting some episodes.

  • @nycboy3489 The exact date it ended was March 26, 1982.

  • That Holland House product had to be among the earliest products made specially for microwave ovens. Microwave-inspired food items became quite hot in the 80s.

  • GS credits 100% BUT YOU CAN KEEP THAT STINKING INQUIZITIOR. WHAT A CONCEITED JACK ASS! shame THAT elitist. back when that show was on I wanted to give that dusty arse a swift kick in the you know where. he made Ben Stein look like Bert Convy. some things IMO need not be brought back!

  • Kennedy took over in October, 1980

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • Oh ok i couldn't remember when the show itself started.
