@arttoegemann By "smoothing" I meant the anti shake editing effect.
That video clip from UNCCH was of a flower, stationary, with some camera movement, it seemed.

@kikhaky Was this made in Sony Vegas? If so, right click on all your videos in the timeline, go to Switches > Disable Resample. That might fix the ghosting.

3D video was produced at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in the early 80s. The television network ABC broadcast the black and white clip; I saw it.

try putting this thru your smoothing feature in editing

I think it will take 4 lenses to reduce the wobble.

The wobble effect may be thought of as "flicker", that effect that occurred in early motion pictures.

By Jove, he's done it!

Sounds cool. One might try experimenting with still life first, unless he has four cameras. I'd like to see some of that on a 120hz tv.

Try alternating on every half frame.

@gentlefury It would work for active glasses.

why not faster?

@atb1248 We tried it at one frame per angle @ 30 and 60fps, the problem is it goes too fast, it looks like the videos are overlaid, lots of ghosting. essentially the effect is lost if the switching is too fast.

@kikhaky Were you using a 60hz screen?

@atb1248 Yes, good call. I'd like to try and experiment with 120hz and 240hz. If you can try it, let me know what it looks like.
