Yes, Spasspilot91's analysis of the situation is surely correct. Even though I am not sure if "idiot" is the best word to use (and neither the videotitle "fun"). Hopefully I learned. The event is from Ibituruna, Governor Valadares (GV), Brasil, where this south start is rather steep (presipitous).
