This album includes a second bonus CD, titled "Mysteries", engineered to greatly enhance your Myths & Legends listening experience. "Mysteries" is designed to be played simultaneously with the Myths & Legends CD. It contains supplemental textures, layered melodic material, sound effects and sonic encoding designed to transform each playing into a personal journey of discovery, over unique multiple listens.

The third disc is a DVD of music videos that present the story of each track on the album. Also contains bonus footage, containing insightful interviews of the creation of what David refers to as his most ambitious project to date.

I love Arkenstone's music especially when he's added percussion or some sort of beat to it. Without it, it doesn't seem to be as magical, but that's just my opinion.

Oceanus: To the ancient Greeks the gods controlled everything, and it was the giant Oceanus that ruled the seas. With a huge whale’s tail and a muscle-bound human half, Oceanus patrolled the globe, regulating the tides, storms and rain. But when a cosmic battle erupted between the titans and their arrogant Olympian offspring, Oceanus refused to join.

Instead of sending tidal waves while Zeus hurled thunderbolts, he stayed calm. Rather than dispatching typhoons and hurricanes when Prometheus rained fire, Oceanus sat on his tail. For only Oceanus knew that long after the gods were gone, the Ocean would still go on.
