  • How can yall dont like this style?

It looks way better than that sinwave crap they do in the other ones.

  • It's SO long. A 40 sec form with that much control and power is very impressive.

  • @shinproful WTF the sinewave is NOT the original way to perform huyngs. This is the way it was done back inthe 60's and 80's. It was not until the early 80's that the Gen put the SW in all the forms. I, personally, enjoy NOT using the SW, the forms have more power with out it. But then again I have been in TKD since 1975 so what do I know?

  • This is a good example of Ge-Beak. Done a bit to quick but still all the movements are correct. This is how it used to be done before General Choi decided he would add sine wave to it and take a Hyung that once looked strong and graceful and made it look like a clown was performing it. Power comes from the hips and partly shoulders not from bobbing up and down in your stance.

  • @foxdrop007 Obviously! ITF forms are superior because they are the original.

However, for some may be attractive styles of each school.

What bothers me is that I do not see sinusoidal movement, and even more, because that makes a black belt patterns.

Ok! We will have to accept every style of each school, I'm not one to correct others.

    I apologize if I offended anyone ...

I hope you understood me, I use Google Translate to communicate and I think that is all wrong translated! xD

  • @octi931 The patterns are very attractive to me. However there is no sinewave . There are some ITF school that do not do sinewave , The ITF patterns are superior to the WTF patterns.

  • @shinproful Yes, I too am training ITF. AND I LOVE IT!

I have not experienced what the WTF, but I know it is quite difficult to launch Dollyo Chaguis with that speed. It's amazing the ability of the human body, and almost nobody takes into account ...

    Good luck!

I repeat, I apologize if I speak bad English! xD

  • @octi931 I'm training ITF Taekwondo, the original with sinewave etc, and I don't like the look of all the other styles, so I don't respect them, although I love WTF.

  • @shinproful Ok, I agree that is a "different style" of Taekwon-Do.

But it bothers me that these forms have the same name as the original. Are similar, but can not find the "grace" have other styles, and less than Original Taekwon-Do.

I do not want to debate, is only an opinion (I accept that I was angry).

I apologize if I speak bad English, use Google Translate to communicate.

Pd: Forms are doing it VERY fast, usually last longer.
