although lawrence fishburne is good i think the problem is that william peterson (gil grissom) made the show. he was the main leader of it. this is the case witha lot of things when something starts of and the main charictor is replaced you find its never as good. its still good just gil grissom made the series what it was

@chestnutsdrawing I agree with you but I think they forced the Langston character too much from the beginning and made him into something unrealistic. They could've made his character work so much better if they'd allowed him to be a normal CSI instead of him immediate becoming a super CSI. If you follow my meaning. It was as though they were trying to make him into the new Grissom. He was his own character. I'm not looking forward to Ted Danson taking over from Langston's character though.

The final scene was perfect and sweet. Grissom Oh I miss you too. CSI is not the same since he left. Grissom was the heart and soul of the series. It was and will be a unique character.

@chestnutsdrawing I know what you mean. When Gil left, I was really happy that he and Sara wound up together, but the rest of season 9 for me was kind of...dull. I found the episodes seemingly longer and without the clever wordplay of Grissom and the oh-so subtle flirtations between Sara and him, the show almost became dull for me. When Sara came back into the picture in Season 10, I was extremely pleased because, in my opinion, CSI just isn't itself without Sara or Grissom or both!

Grissom is the best! I miss watching him in CSI. He's perfect not only for the character but for the show too. :( I want the CSI old member, I wish they didn't make Warrick died.
