In this episode Chuck talks about the award-winning Force Recon T7N. This model is built around Intel's Core i7 processors and NVIDIA's SLI technology. The T7N also supports ATI CrossFireX. This particular computer is configured with an Intel Core i7-920 processor overclocked to 3.6GHz, an ASUS Rampage II Extreme motherboard, 3 overclocked NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 video cards from Zotac in 3-way SLI, 6GB of DDR3 1800MHz memory from Kingston, our Monsoon III LT CPU cooler, and a prototype of our new Bolt 1000 power supply. This system is pretty ridiculous.

  • Hey, I'm planning on buying a new gaming rig within a couple months and after researching for a month I've decided to buy from Vigor. I've configured a pretty sweet Hornet NE, but I'm having a hard time choosing between two Radeon HD 4870 1 GB cards or two GTX 285 cards. I plan on doing a lot of 3D modeling and animation and some intense gaming, so which would be better for me? Thanks!

  • For 3D Modeling and animation, NVIDIA cards have been historically better due to slightly better driver support for professional applications. Also, the GTX 285 is kind of a step above the 4870 1GB card in price and performance, so that would be a better (though more expensive) choice. Alternatively, look at the new ATI Radeon HD4890 cards. Those are widely considered to be the best thing out there right now.

  • brand new case we haven't shown yet..... bitch everyone has seen that case man its a fuckin 1200.

Rebranding is a slippery slope man.....

  • rebranded antec case.. sooo lame

  • your cpu will be toast! hehehe

  • lol my surname is vigor and i like games

  • thise temps on your CPU load seem outragously high. I have a core i7 920 overlclocked at 3.6 GHz as well and don't get over 63C on full load using Prime 95. Might want to lower the CPU voltage if you can to get lower temps. Even if your ambient temps are high in the room, that still seems really high. just saying

  • what brand monitor is that?

  • thats a fuckin amazing hat, where did you get it?
