Dayton's Tech Town technology campus continues to evolve, with construction of its third office/research building now underway. Community leaders gathered September 8 at the downtown business park for a sign-raising ceremony marking the building's launch. The 60,000-sq.-ft., three-story "smart" building will feature advanced energy-saving and communications technologies and is slated for a summer 2011 opening. Financing was provided by the Ohio Department of Development, PNC Bank, Finance Fund, CityWide Development Corporation and the City of Dayton. In addition to the newest building, the Tech Town campus also includes The Entrepreneurs Center and the Creative Technology Accelerator, which house three of Dayton's five technology business incubators and more than a dozen growing businesses.
