This has to be one of the oddest (and strangely mesmerizing) things on the net: ants flying through the air in extreme slow motion propelled by the rapid closing of their jaws. All set to a very peculiar sound track. The ant at the top of the image above is cart-wheeling its way over the other two.

  • Fake.

  • 5 people have weak jaws

  • its like ant matrix ^_^

  • They accelerate their mandibles at 100000 X the acceleration of gravity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know just enough about physics to realize how ridiculous it is that the shutting of their mandibles, which weigh 0.1-1 gram total, can propel them that far into the air and cause 60 hertz of rotational speed. INSANE! Suck it MANTIS SHRIMP!

  • Ants de soleil

  • aqui hay unas que cuando las intento matar, salta de esa manera

  • fuck spiderman do an antman movie XD

  • This really has quite a strange atmosphere... I never realised ants could jump/somersault o_o;

  • great a pity it is not in color

  • I felt kinda bad for the last one, just walkin along and fffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu --- . Watching him crashing into the petri dish wall I was like "awwwwww.... awwwww.... poor ant..." . That said, it was also funny.
