Jellyfish (probable box jellyfish)

A rare, short clip of aquarium jellyfishes that I acquired from a river for identification and research purpose.

This is a type of mini box jellyfish, species: Chironex. Highly venomous, never touch their tentacles, the toxins may even cause death. The river I went to was full of these jellyfish. They are so numerous that I could randomly scoop up a jellyfish into a container. I passed through the river without being hurt.

Apparently they couldn't survive for long, even though fed with planktons and departed week after.

@mayaDUDE998 actually its very possible to capture these jellies and handle them so long as you don't come into contact with their tentacles. You can grab the bell and handle them that way, avoiding being stung by wearing gloves and a full body suit. Also you may be interested to know that box jellies, unlike other species have eyes that can distinguish colors and shapes. They are 28, all them localized around the four corners of the bell.
