jradai, if your figures are true, you make about the same as my wife and I. We have four kids, you have 5 so you would get an extra exemptions and our deductions probably are in the same neighborhood but not mirror images. I went and researched both tax plans. Under McCain's my family would get about another $800 back. Under Obama'a, we will get just over $1400 back. Our families are actually going to come out ahead on Obama'a plan.

my husband makes 90k, i make 30k, we worked hard to get where we are. we have 5 kids and save for their college and save also for our retirement. Why did people elect Obama when he is destroying the American Dream for people who reach out and actually take that opportunity from them? he is going to take it and give it to those who dont try as hard as we did. Its not fair and im sick and tired of some people excited about the money they are going to get from us! We are living in awful times..

StartMatter774, Call it subjective but I assess potential policies to determine how they would impact my business and my employees. I find Obama's far less appealing to my business than McCain's. I do not believe my position is unique. If you are in a position to make decisions that would impact the livelihood of others I would be more than willing to entertain your opposing arguments.

With regard to WMD, do you remember the climate of that time and the bravado exhibited by Saddam Hussein?

StarMatter774, also regarding your reference to Bush's perceived unilateral actions, aren't you forgetting all our allies who have been with us all along? Who do you want us to get permission before we act to protect ourselves and our interests? Russia? China? Iran? Germany? France?

McCain is a lousy campaigner, Obama is a great campaigner. However, McCain's plans are better than Obama under closer scrutiny.
