you know an anime is good when you actually FEEL for the deaths of the characters. more specifically, envy's death. call me a nut for feeling that way for a freakin drawing, but i really felt sorry for him. that is no small feat of that i assure you (i'm about as emotional as a rock)

I know lust and envy where the real meaning of what people should call badass monsters but... no 1 deserves to die in such a horrible way... they're screams were infernal and Roy's hatred was overwhelming ... in other words great anime!!! XD

@outlaw0987654321 - I don't think that's so weird. Even though these characters are just drawings we can feel for them because they're supposed to represent a person. These little drawings are still given a voice, a story and a personality. That's what makes them feel "real" in a sense to us because they have all the elements of a person except being physically 3-dimensional.

The same reason we can find cartoons attractive - they're based on things in reality.

@SAI35REED actually he wasn't heartless at all. he was envious. i felt the same way until ed called him out and he admited he always wanted friends he evnied everyone else because of this. then there was that "i'm better than humans" attitude that was in him thanks to father so he couldn't actually make many friends since there were so few of his kind. the colsest friend he may have had was lust and i'm not even sure you could call it that. i couldn't help but feel sad and pity him lol.
