Mika's Ocarina: A Tales of Symphonia Fan Animation

I have a sort of collab going with a friend of mine on a fanfic I'm writing. I'm the one writing it, but two of the OCs were thought up and designed by her. In my 'Ossa Trail' chapter, I wrote a scene where her OC Mika was playing her ocarina, and just happened to be listening to this piece of music. I thought it fit so well that it inspired me to make this, my first ever proper animation.

For those interested in the techincal side of how I made this, the pan shots of the landscapes were all done using my digital camera. The part with Mika playing the ocarina was the result of constructing from parts, one by one, 160 mind numbing frames. It works out at about 7 frames per second.

Disclaimer: I don't own the rights to Tales of Symphonia, and neither to I own those of Otogi Zoshi. I do however own all art used in this vid.

It comes from a lot of practice. Always had a flare for stories, always liked drawing, and always had a thing for music. I'll have to get my camcorder vid of my brass band piece converted to digital so I can upload it, then you can see what my composing is like ^_^
