OK idiots. Special forces were probably deployed because even before that, there had been a warning from MI5 of attacks by dissident republicans. Fact. Documented. Accesible by google. The warning obviously proved true, and the only criticism that could ever be given against the special forces in this matter is that they failed to prevent. I don't know if you know this but only 6 out of 9 counties in Ulster are under foreign occupation. Only 3 of the 9 have a Unionist majority.
