  • I HOPE that is not original scores this guy is handeling without anykind of proper gloves. That has to be copies!

  • Dissonant intervals by themselves grate on the ears, but bach was able to use them so expressively to move between consonant intervals. Sometimes when I am learning a new bach piece, I am shocked by the intervals he actually uses, but when I play it all together, it sounds wonderful.

  • Why is piano-charles always comparing ? Bach=Bach, Handel=Handel.

  • Bach's employers scarcely paid him a fraction of what his heavenly music is worth. Today he might command enough to support his huge family for life from just one opus.

Perhaps we should rather admire his humility for not more frequently losing his rag with the unappreciative of his age.

  • @MrTomekat87 Thanks you so much...i have been waiting to know that since so long..

  • @mehulpanditful Theodora - G. F. Handel - final Aria, Duo, Recitative and Chorus

  • What is the name of the piece he played at 5:47...???

  • How is it possible they didn't show even a tiny part of Gould playing Bach?!?!?!?!?!

  • @mortson978 I agree! I've played many of his preludes (not THE preludes, the easier ones), and a few inventions, and in his 13th Invention, there's one part in the middle section where the left hand melody is doing something, and the right hand is doing something else, and they both clash on a minor second. Like you, when I first saw it, I thought I probably misread the score...but then I looked again and again to make sure, and it was correct..now, it sounds completely normal to me. :P

  • @MirrPL

Yeah, how dare they touch paper!

  • @awfulsad Y olvidé la parte que es:

    Gute Nacht, o Wesen,

    Das die Welt erlesen,

    Mir gefällst du nicht.

    Gute Nacht, ihr Sünden,

    Bleibet weit dahinten,

    Kommt nicht mehr ans Licht!

Gute Nacht, du Stolz und Pracht!

    Dir sei ganz, du Lasterleben,

    Gute Nacht gegeben

  • @awfulsad BWV 227 Se llamó Jesu, meine Freude. ¡Y es en verdad hermosa!
