  • answers. I mean these issues have been covered in detail by people on youtube and other websites, books and all other types of sources really. Look up austrian economics, polycentric law, emergent order, unlimited individualistic secession, voluntary societies ect

  • Yeah but it actually applies here. Its going to take a bit, its not an overnight thing. But see i dont need to answer all your questions to have a valid point. If your worried of uncertainties in a stateless society, then look at the state, there is no certainty with that. But tell me, how is statism going to continue? How is this myth, (which is dying) going to continue for much longer. Maybe 100 years more? Maybe? But if you want answers, you cant just ask me, you have to go and find the

  • the f word gets thrown around a lot. i could describe a democratic society 400 years ago. Pro democratic forces would topple the government and then hold election. i don't really know what anti staters would do. would they just topple the state and go home? what would happen to existing companies like google and mcdonalds, would they be destroy? who would get all the military stuff? would it be illegal for towns to make laws? in a way, its almost like a prisoner saying we don't need a warden

  • Erik you looked like Nixon with the double vees

  • In the US - for all practical purposes - the 'religion of the state' IS the state religion! Which is enabled & reinforced by organized religion.

As we both went to Catholic schools, you know as well as I do it's the twooth:p

Agreed: the 'religion of the state' is far more dangerous overall then even the worst of sectarian religious fanaticism. Though the latter can be quite useful to the state as a 'distraction' - as we see with the uber religions right in the US!

  • 400 years ago saying a non-monarchical state existing was also about as "impossible". there is also no such thing as a capitalist state, thats an oxymoron. capitalism is the free market with no state, what we have always had is forms of what we would now call fascism, and of course anyone with some semblance of intelligence would say fascism is bullshit.

  • a free world with no states isn't very possible in my opinion, but it would be more possible in an athiest dominated world. Whats worse, government officials that say what should we do about x, or goverment officials that say what does the bible say we should do about x? Capitalist governments are passing anti blasphamey laws around the world not because they care about truth, but because they want to better sales to religious dominated states and people.

  • see to me, believing in the religion of the state is far more dangerous then believing in some church or god. believing in the state has implications right now, tangible ones. that is if i believe in the bible or whatever im not extorting money from someone or propping up an institution that blows up children. the free market is just an expression of human interaction and action, no arbitrary entity can make it 'work better'. heres the problem though, the state is a religion.
