@Headhunter004 how about you do some reasearch show us the numbers that you came up with
define "many" and y are you brining up slavery in a debate about the DP how do you know what the numbers are your just spouting off without any proff to back up what you are saying

We have war. Why not the death penalty. That's worse than hypocrisy because usually its civilians who take the heaviest casualties in war. Of course those who say it is never justified haven't factored in human overpopulation either.

There are some sick fucks who deserve to die, But enless your crime was sickening.. (Torture, Rape..) You should get just life.

@thevolturi998bc So what did the people on the opposing side have to say when the jackass who made this video told the "human rights morons" to "shut the fuck up?"

As for the other two points... The "nothing to lose" theory doesn't work. Prisons are equipped to handle those who break the law within their walls. They go to secure housing units, where they spend 23 hours a day in a cell without the luxuries that other inmates have, such as TV or commissary.

What about the people on death row? Commute their sentences. That's what Gov. Pat Quinn did in Illinois when they abolished the death penalty last year. All death row inmates are now serving life w/o parole. As for those who died on death row... as with anything, we can't change the past, just learn from it and move forward.
Also, as a response to your Bible reference... most churches OPPOSE the death penalty, claiming that ALL human life is valuable, because GOD created it!

@70scarrestoguy Legally not illegally
1. FYI many people executed have later been proven to be innocent, what then?
2. So was getting rid of slavery a mistake, too then? BTW, using it in "every" murder would be financially IMPOSSIBLE, moron. Do some research!
3. Which is why DP states have fewer prison homicides than states without... oh wait!
4. Again, DP states have had more and no, the long, drawn out DP process in many cases just ADDS to their suffering as attested to by families themselves, idiot, do some goddamned research!

1) The victims can't speak ? hmm.... wonder how many would say; "YOU GOT THE WRONG DUDE DUMBASS ! "
2) What to do with those already on death row if CP was banned is a problem for this rocket scientist ??
3) GOLLY.....rapists and child molesters could feel safe..warm and fuzzy.....that's a tough one.......ugh
