Dionne's greatest and most memorable recording.
-
@08shortstop The opening thru to the end wouldn't be the same. :D

Dory Previn, who wrote this song also passed away on February 11th 2012

@08shortstop --here is an ironic twist: Shouldn't this be played for Ms Warwick's neice?
Whitney Houston. Same message 40 years later.

This is a beautiful song sung by a master! Dionne Warwick has a beautiful voice. She was very popular during the 60s and sang most of Burt Bacharach's songs.

It was back in 1992 or 1993 in an outdoors concert in Michigan, Dionne was performing and she and Bert had just gotten back together. I was waiting for her to sing Deja Vu as that was my favorite among her songs. She then sang Valley of the Dolls, and "brought the house down" It was so wonderful, and that is now my favorite song of hers.
thank you, forgot

A case in which the theme song is so good it makes the film memorable ... at least for me ... the closing scene wouldn't be the same without it .... thanks 60otaku3
