Whatever you wear just make sure it's not a club dress or shoes. And makeup don't over do it.

I honestly understand why they say its not professional b/c some ppl put on wigs that just don't look good if you walk in the place with a 3 color wig or something like that then it's unprofessional and me as a female understand that synthetic wigs seem to get messy after a few wears but everyday changing ur wigs seems like a bit too much...Just my opinion just try to minimize it to at least every week or every 2weeks :-)

I have a question ladies. I donated 95% of my clothes(new with tags on, designer bags,shoes...) to a youth summer camp & only kept my workout clothes bc I'm training for a marathon& have been losing weight. Should I not wear my workout clothes to work? I work for a communications firm(magazine)? I just don't want to buy more clothes until I get to my idea weight.

Golden Rule #1 When in Rome, do as the romans do. Corporate america doesn't like diversity as much as they say they do, they want to relate to african americans in one set focus, and thats through your performance in the office only. If you want to change it up, then have your own business, thats just the way it is.

I think as long as the hairstyle is appropriate it shouldn't matter if she wears a ponytail one day and curls the next! To me it's no difference between wearing your natural hair up one day and curly the next! I am one of those people who wears different wigs daily or weekly!! I would have asked that supervisor to show me in the policy where I can only wear one type hairsty
I'm sorry! This sounds like a lawsuit should happen. In some shape or form this is discrimination. Cover thy assets!

@MARGO1502 I KNOW RIGHT?!! it's just such an obvious form of discrimination...it's between being comical and criminal!

MissChriss thanx for answering my email in ur vid. I had to explain to my supervisor the difference in human and synthetic hair pieces and the reason I switch up so much is because once the synthetic piece gets ratty looking very quick its time for a new one. Needless to say we no longer have an issue with my hair. Guess its out of fear i might snatch my hair off again in front of ppl. Because the stocking cap look left a lot if jaws dropped.

I wore an asymmetrical cut to work and was told it was not professional and that I looked like I was going to the club and I needed to change it.
