NYC Shiba Inu - Animal Haven Soho - 12/21/08

Bear was the big boy of the bunch, but that didn't stop him from having fun. He's the red shiba playing with the white shiba and little Sumo the puppy. Fun was had by all. :)

EDIT: may 15, 2009: Bear has lost a little weight since this video. i'm not sure if it was the shedding for spring or legit weight loss or a little bit of both but he's looking trim, and although, still large framed for a shiba (even a male) he's healthy. :D

sumo got bitten that day. :'( he was a bit traumatized for a few days but got over it afterwards. but it was overall a good experience for him. he's stopped biting since he realized how much it hurt it was to be bitten. next time will be better. he'll be neutered and bigger so he can hang with the big shibas. :-)

i felt so bad for him. :( Is he ok, physically?

The other dogs knew something was up and I could tell they were trying to help out. Bear kept barking at Hiro, even after Hiro was separated from Sumo. Sumo's got a lot of shibas there to protect him! I can't wait to see him grown up and tumble around with the others.

XD "Weee! Zoooom!" Must you really add sound effects? I guess you must...without those it wouldn't be funny. Hahaha. Bear is so cuuute! I wants to hug... O_O -squeals- PUPPIES!
