The BioSpec-nano is a UV-VIS spectrophotometer specifically
designed to meet the needs of life science analysis. This new model can
handle extremely small sample amounts, for instance one sample drop
(1 - 2 μL sample volume) is pipetted directly onto the measuring surface
and the sample compartment is closed automatically prior to analysis.
The BioSpec-nano enables fast quantitative determination of nucleic acids
such as DNA, RNA and oligonucleotides. After an analysis time of only three
seconds the system is cleaned automatically and is ready for the next sample.
The BioSpec-nano achieves an extremely high sample throughput via
straightforward pipetting -- cost-intensive consumables such as cuvettes or
capillaries are no longer needed.
