Duelist Closing Credits Love Song - Ha Ji Won, Kang Dong Won

Song from the ending credits of the 2005 Korean film Duelist (형사). This is the version of the duet "Geu Rim Ja (그림자) and Love Song" performed by the film's stars. It is nowhere to be found on the OST - the official version is performed by Park Ki Young & Lee Seung Yul.

I believe Ha and Kang recorded their tracks separately and they were mixed together. I'm not 100% on this but it makes sense because the song itself is a blend of two musical themes from the film. Also, the melodies are very different from one another in terms of timing so I imagine they're difficult to perform at the same time.

I'm not sure what the case was for Park and Lee in the soundtrack version. Nonetheless, I prefer the actors' rendition of the song, so here it is.

that's a tough one. it doesn't have widespread distribution so it's tough to find a legitimate dvd. i think someone uploaded it on this site if you don't mind the quality and just want to check out the film. hope you're able to see it properly. the visuals are a major part of the appeal of this movie.

Unfortunately, you can't. As far as I know, the Ha Ji Won/Kang Dong Won version of this song was never released as an official track (the version in the soundtrack has different singers). The closest would be a music video (comprised of footage from the film) found in the 3-disc Limited Edition DVD set from Korea. I had the set but eventually sold it. I regret not extracting a copy of the music video - it's impossible to find anywhere, even youtube.

The title of the song is "그림자 and Love Song" - it is actually two songs mixed together (hence, the literal title).

"그림자" (Geu Rim Ja) is sung by Kang Dong Won in the movie credits.

"Love Song" is sung by Ha Ji Won in the movie credits.

In the soundtrack CDs, this song is performed by Park Ki Young and Lee Seung Yul.

review: this song just show how much the lead actors complement each other.. they sing two different melody in one song but it blends so darn well. just like their sword duel at tht alley.. it just fit in.. one long sword with two short ones..

the guy all quiet and dashing and the girl loud and rough...

it's a perfection tht's so hard to grasp(by hard, i mean, figuratively speakg)!!! bcoz they don't show it through the usual love scenes & dialogues

Yes, it has subs. Lol. It takes a minute to figure out how to put the subtitles on (nothing is in english), unless I watch it with the dvd player that has a "subtitles" button on the remote, but I know which heading to choose by heart now. lol. IDK why Koreans do that (I own more than one Korean movie/tv show). At least the Japanese and Chinese try to give us a break!
