1st test of a powered screen (#8 mesh) using a windshield motor. Rocking motion and pulsing of the water into the cube are noted and will be addressed further. RED

  • the action doesnt interfer with the cubes process"?

  • @cootification apparently not, however a newer model minimizes the motion of the cube.

  • the motor can be switched to run at 62 or 41 RPM . I tried the slower speeds but didn't care for the slower action.

  • Battery is 127 AH deep cycle and was on for over two hours but I had to quite early cuz of the rising water level. So I can't say how long it will last yet.

    Seems that you have to raise the shovel a little too high for comfort but it looks good.
