@cootification apparently not, however a newer model minimizes the motion of the cube.

the motor can be switched to run at 62 or 41 RPM . I tried the slower speeds but didn't care for the slower action.

Battery is 127 AH deep cycle and was on for over two hours but I had to quite early cuz of the rising water level. So I can't say how long it will last yet.
