what size are your plates? tnx

Great job. Very impressive gear you have there. I'm no expert but I've built many units. If there is any oil from your hands on the plates or anything in the electrolyte, that can cause foaming. I cleaned mine with alcohol before submersing. That seemed to help.

Thats true - you would have to us SS or brase parts.
Ah more tinkering... its always fun.

Hey there Deltahho, very good work on your cell. I was just wondering what your stance on the plate set up was..what is the difference of having that many neutrals and why exactly 3/2 of the + / -. I am testing a cell now with only 1 negative in the middle, and 2 positives, rest neutrals. any good ideas on what the differences are of how many of each type of plate? Thanks for the help.

the Idea is to work out what voltage you will be running the cell off then Divide 2 into it e.g. if you were working with 12v/2= 6 so you would need 6plates +NNNN- I'm useing 14volts so its 14\2= 7 so I need +NNNNN- then you can arange the plates so there back to back like +NNNNN-NNNNN+NNNNN-NNNNN+NNNNN-NNNNN+ and so on and so on.

The 2 is for a Max of 2volts per plate if you use anymore then 2V per plate it just turns into heat not HHO hope this helps good luck I see it time & time again people useing to many volts it kills your cell and make the water turn brown

wow nice production. BTW I love the digital volt meter, really cool.
I also like the design in that it does pull the water up thru the cell. Perhaps you might consider a pump in future builds? I know that is something I am going to try.
Good work. I look forward to watching more vids from you.

yeah the only problem with a pump is that it the internal parts must be made of all SS or Brass and can take heat upto 70oC or more I dont know how hot this cell get up to yet but I did run it today for about 1h @ 15amps and it got up to 40oC more testing needs to be done. Yeah well thanks for the input always looknig for idears

You've done very well with the output - how many plates have you used? Are they arranged +/-/+/-/...? Did you use DC power or a modulated frequency source? Thanks for your help.

Hi there Lewis 25 Plate +NNNNN-NNNNN+NNNNN-NNNNN+ @ 14V and KOH Added to the water. When the Cell is finished I will be playing with a fue different frequency source thanks for your interest I've almost finished my tank just waitting for my glue to dry.
