Vintage TV commercial with GI Joe and his Adventure Team Mobile Support Vehicle. The back had slide out displays and consoles, hanging maps, chair (which was one of the front seats), flying satellites, workable searchlight and revolving radar dish. There was also 2 compartments for gear. Check out the rest from my virtual toybox! ^_^

  • I totally forgot about this until going through these videos. Yup, I had this too. Man, my parents really got us kids a lot of great stuff. I'm sure I thanked them at Christmas and my birthday when I got all these, but I wish they were still alive today for me to thank them again.

  • @cinematedman They gave you fun and happy childhood memories that last always. English is not perfect, but I hope you understand.

  • this was my prized possession in the early 70's, the arial camera wore down pretty quick and would just spin around in the dirt, but the maps held tough and always led Joe back home .

  • 70s Joes sucked. A bunch of scruffy hippies with dirty beards going on politically correct missions like finding satellites. 80's joe would have kicked his commie ass.

  • I had this vehicle, I wish I still had it today, they're worth A LOT of money.

  • They had some great toys back then. Wished they had those now. I certainly would shell out the money for it.

  • I had one of these. My memory of this is enhanced because I remember seeing the box that it was packaged in used for moving days and storage well into the 80's. The toy itself was probably dismantled and destroyed within six weeks. Like whiskeyfox, mine was from the early 70's, not 1977

  • I had one too. Wish I could find one now. I had this and the helicopter. I always thought I was a deprived child but I guess I wasn't. What a cool toy. I had one in 1972 or 73, not in 77

  • Wow! i used to have this!
