"And there is salvation in no one else [than Jesus], for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."(Acts 4:10-13)

"The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name." (Zechariah 14:9)

This is a response to Yuratchka, who believes Jesus is a Lord beside the Lord our God. He recently made an outrageous claim that Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" is best understood as not quoting Joel 2:32. There are absolutely no good grounds for this claim and there are good grounds to believe Paul is quoting Joel 2:32, thus making Jesus and Yahweh one.

Whose name is the most exalted? And at whose name shall people bow their knees? The Bible says: Yahweh. The Bible says: Jesus. Yahweh and Jesus must be one.

"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11)

"Stand up and bless YHWH your God from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. You are YHWH, you alone. You have made heaven, (...), the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you."

"I am God, and there is no other. (...) Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear." (Isaiah 45:22b-23 NIV)

  • Amen!! The entire scriptures from Genesis 1:1 confirm that Yeshua (Jesus) and YHVH are One. God Bless You

Hi Buck. To deny that that Jesus is fully YHWH is to deny the Word of God. "And there is salvation in no one else [than Jesus], for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."(Acts 4:10-13) "For everyone who calls on the name of YHWH will be saved" (Joel 2:32).

  • Great video.

    God bless you bro!

  • @Bucklehairy: Last comment, notice the 2 worship's. The one for Yahushua is "to kiss the hand of". Such as how one bows before a Queen and kisses her hand in respect. Yahushua, being the right hand of YHWH, is "worshiped" or respected in this same manner. He is the hand of YHWH, not YHWH. He is the hand that bought the mountain, that laid the foundations of the earth. The hand that fixed the error from Eden (cross). For only the hand of YHWH could fix something within the creation of YHWH.

  • @Bucklehairy: I know, but what about passages such as this, right?

Matt 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Yahushua met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped* him.

    *worshiped - G4352

    1) to kiss the hand to (towards) one, in token of reverence

    Worship of Father.

Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship* no other el: for YHWH, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous El:

    *worship - H7812 1) to bow down

One MUST use a Concordance to read a KJV.

  • @Bucklehairy: Whom does the 24 elders and the 4 beasts worship?

    Rev 19:4

And the four and elders and the four beasts fell down and WORSHIPED YHWH THAT SAT ON THE THRONE, saying, amein; Alleluia.

Yahushua even told Satan this #1 rule.

    Matthew 4:10

Then saith Yahushua unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YHWH thy Elohim, and HIM ONLY shalt thou serve.

Notice Yahushua did not state to worship him or another, but ONLY, repeat, only YHWH. Straight from his mouth.

  • @Bucklehairy:

    Philippians 3:3

For we are the circumcision, WHICH WORSHIP YHWH in the spirit, and REJOICE (not worship) in the Messiah Yahushua, and have no confidence in the flesh.

    Listen to an angel.

    Rev 22:9

Then saith he unto me, See thou DO IT NOT: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: WORSHIP YHWH.

  • @Bucklehairy: Listen to Messiah, he clearly states what the 1st & great commandment is. Ps 45 is YHWH, not Yahushua. Please get a RNKJV.

    Matt 22:36-40

Rabbi, which is THE GREAT COMMANDMENT in the law? YAHUSHUA SAID unto him, Thou shalt LOVE YHWH thy Elohim with ALL THY HEART, and with ALL THY SOUL, and with ALL THY MIND. This is the FIRST and GREAT COMMANDMENT. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW and the prophets.

  • @QuietBuck

Didn't the early Christians worship Jesus as a god? Do you worship Jesus? But it is written "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only", while we worship and serve the Lord Jesus! There is no Lord and no God beside the Lord our God. Isn't it written of the Messiah: "Since he is your lord, bow to him." (Ps 45:11) or "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness" (Ps 45:6). Jesus, the Messiah, is fully God on the throne, forever!

  • @QuietBuck

The Word took on flesh, but "the Word was with God and the Word was God" (John 1:1). Unambiguously, the Father and the Word are one in divine eternal essence. There is only one YHWH, who exists in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Hence, YHWH, in the person of the Son, took on flesh.

  • @QuietBuck

"In the name of" or "by the name of" Jesus refers to to the power and authority of the person of Jesus. Joel 2:32 "call on the name of" doesn't mean to spell out YHWH's name, but to direct your prayer to him. Hence, Paul equates Jesus with YHWH in Romans 10:13; meaning, the person of Jesus' Christ by Himself has the power to save. And there is only one YHWH who saves, Zec 14:9 "YHWH will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one YHWH, and his name the only name."

  • @QuietBuck My friend, may I ask if you have the Greek? If you do, read through the Book of John and note each time that Jesus utters ἐγώ εἰμί (ego eimi). This will be a blessing to you and you will see that divine power flashes forth from Him. This is true of all the uses in John but especially in 8:58 and 18:5-6. Jesus=YHWH! This is a truth I would die for. Without it, I would throw my Bible in the trash. May the Holy Spirit make this clear to you.
