SATORI CIRCUS & Warrior Girl with Dixon on violin.... in 'the Marriage of Her & Him'

This was filmed on Devil's Night in Detroit at the Tangent Gallery for DAMNED, 2008. A macabre Art exhibition - the first of its kind in Detroit to my knowledge. I gave it a title...unsure of what we actually called it...haha. The videographer on this piece was Casey Miller. Warrior Girl and I have done a few pieces together since and before this. A great partner for Improvisation and creativity. Also, a very dear friend of ours, Dixon, supplied the original, beautiful and haunting music you hear in the background. This performance piece was based on marriage and through time, how roles change within gender - also, we used the Butoh dance form to convey our tension, uncertainty and anguish...and really, thought it was a great vehicle for story telling. Its a rather longer piece than I've posted before, but couldn't see any reason to delete anything. Enjoy. SC
