The old vs the new! The new being the 2003 Gmc Envoy and the old being the 2000 Gmc Jimmy. We did one in 2 wheel but i didn't get to record it this one is in 4x4. Hope you like it please comment. The Jimmy is a V6 with 190hp and 260ft lbs of torque and the Envoy is an I6 with 277hp and 275ft lbs of torque.

  • turn traction control on in te envoy and put it in 4wd then see who wins!!!!

  • @willdog2440 Envoy doesn't have TC and it's only a 2wd...

  • i think we should be given the chance to watch the front and rear axles on both vehilces. i know the text says both were in 4x4 but we couldnt see it for our selfs.

personaly i think it should be a tie or the winner is the one with the better tires, maybe even the one with a full gas tank

  • @potna69 Actually the Envoy was in 2wd i meant we did one where the Jimmy was in 2wd first but we didn't get the chance to record it. We did get this one but the Jimmy was in 4x4 and the Envoy in 2wd but that's how it was bet, he thought he could win so we tried it and he lost lol.

  • Honestly, I hate both these trucks, but the envoy is much heavier it should have won.. Power means nothing in these tests.

  • @Mamailian Exactly it's all about weigh, traction, tire thread and type of tire things like that!

  • @elementkidd Dude no shit! Guess this proves that the jimmy is gonna get better traction then. Why did you even watch it? You must own an Envoy.

  • This is very stupid, 4x4 vs 2x4, are you kidding me? If that envoy had the locking diff, he might have made your 4x4 look stupid with his 2x4.

  • Are you serious? Obviously you haven't seen what happens when a rope, chain, cable breaks. If you are going to try this again, I strongly urge you to close the tailgates. This way when it smacks the back of your head, at least it will slow down a little.

I watched a 3/4" diameter rope come through a windshield after it caved in the front of a Silverado hood doing the same thing. If whatever you were using to attach the vehicles snapped...you wouldn't know what hit you.

  • Envoy was in 2x4. At 0:18 only the rear tires spin.

  • @stormtroopera52 Go to any S10,/Blazer forum and tell them you got that much TQ stock, they will laugh at you and tell you to go look at GM's stock specs for your vehicle. IF you wanna be ignorant that's fine, just don't go spreading the wrong information to other ppl.

  • @xxgearheadxx100 yeah, im gonna get information off the internet, screw where I live and the type of vehicles designed for area i live, you must know everything because you hit up google every time you get hit with a question, maybe actually go to school and learn about this stuff before you go to talk about talking

  • @stormtroopera52 Not even a stock LT1 V8 outta a camaro came with that much TQ so how is a V6 with 2 less cylinders make more torque! I've seen built 4.3's pull 450hp on the dyno but not stock. Google is your friend, do some research before you go talking outta ur ass.

  • @xxgearheadxx100 Explain why my 4.3 V6 has 338 Ft lbs of torque (Stock I might add), please enlighten me, My shits never been straighter End of discussion

  • @stormtroopera52 are you retarded? The voy would'a pulled the jimmy all day long if it had 4wd, he already said that pull was with the jimmy in 4wd so of course it's gonna pull the voy. Plus the voy has 275ft-lbs TQ that year blazer only had about 250ft-lbs. Get your shit straight

  • the older blazers/jimmy's have more torque than the envoys and trailblazers, the new vehicles arent going to win a tug of war with the old ones.

Also remember the 90's S10 series have the 4.3 Vortec which is a 350 LT V8 with 2 cylinders cut off, so they have an extremely oversized engine under that hood too, my 96 jimmy will pull a suburban out of a ditch on icy road conditions.
