Very nice show with a lot of capabilities. I'm truly sorry that there are just 13 episodes. They could have done better. :(

I'd like to know the reason why they left it so long instead of riding off the back of popular dvd 80's releases like Airwolf,Knight Rider,A Team. SH gets the short shrift again & comes in late. The main thing is that fans have their release. Re. bonus material from Rex etc. Again such a shame he couldn't share this with fans these last 20yrs. I tried interviewing him several times. I'm not a big dvd retail company paying money I guess.
Feels good to finally draw a line underneath this show.

Most of Europe should be able to play Region 2, it's just America that might have a problem unless they have a region free machine. Easy enough if you know how. My Stingray dvd's are Canadian R1 and I can play them fine. Funny mind, Street Hawk being a US show and it gets a UK release! LoL I don't suppose I'll be buying it, it would really depend. SH & I have a lot of history, but I've moved on from the show. I'd like to see the bonus material for old times sake, so we'll see.

This was a great show, that was also a big influence on a film called "Cyclone" with Heather Thomas of "The Fall Guy" that came out two years after "Street Hawk" was cancelled. I have the film on DVD and it is very similiar to the show at times. I am sure the filmmakers had seen it. :)

Very true. It wasn't a bad movie and Heather Thomas is fine!
Also try the film, Time Rider. It had an electronic score like Street Hawk, and they used a trail bike (similiar to the Honda they used for SH) to go back in time! The rider even had a modified ghibli helmet (as used previously in SH) For such a short lived show, Street Hawk left an impression even to this day.
