Episode 1: Squid hats: the silent killer!
Voices were all managed and done by myself, Giru's Guru.
Now, there are probably a few viewers wondering why I have made this abridged series and why its just a "test" like said in the title... here are the reasons:
1) I wanted this to be a side project for mainly myself, so I'm considering it to be my own abridged series with the help of VAs in the future.
2) The quality of the episode is slightly low, and the voices are mainly mediocre. So to help advance this abridged project with a few more VAs I've decided to make a thread sometime on the VAA forums regarding a few auditions for this abridged series not only for voices, but for some help/input at times with scripting and video editing and encoding.
3) I haven't seen the Kirby anime get parodied at all and I know there are jokes waiting to be taken advantage of, so I'm starting this abridged series to help said problem.

Sound effects were mostly ripped from the DBZ anime and other anonymous sources.
Music was mostly from the Kirby anime/Kirby Air Ride OST, while the other songs in this episode were:
The Smurfs Theme Song

It's a pilot I learned the hard way that it can either go suprisingly well or horrible wrong. It was pretty good and editing was really good.

Hmm...well there were certainly some parts that made me giggle; (mostly that last part with the Carlos Reference) but I can't help but feel like it had a lot of dull/unnecessary scenes too =(
This might just be a personal preference of mine, but usually when I see an abridged series around 8-9 minutes long, and for a first episode no less; I usually get the feeling that it was made by someone who doesn't really know what they're doing comedy, acting, and editing-wise..and usually, I'm right xD'

But just to continue my comment since it wouldn't let me finish, I did enjoy a lot of the voices that you used in this =3 The tiki-thing, king DDD, the caped dude and the guy who sold the squid were all pretty fun to listen to ^^

Well, it was a first episode. And as said before, there was absolutely no scripting to this since it was a test to show some users my voice range, etc. Although, when I script things out they do sound a little better than not scripted at all.
Also I felt that some dull scenes were necessary to show progress within the episode... it wouldn't make sense to skip an entire scene and see a character wind up somewhere different... thats how most of the original was, so I couldn't filter much out...
