@bernardosg Why dont you use autocad CIVIL 3D, if you download it go to the manual STEP by STEP in the page 64 you will have the way to solve the problem!, normally the manual is part of the software with the examples too, if you do it, and you cant find the Manual I will give it to you by email
@redfoxarts youll need to study Calculus, strength in materials, steel design, calculus, little physics, calculus, Their really isnt that much trig, besides trig is easy., Ummm Calculus, timber design, concrete design, lots of cool stuff actually besides the calculus.
I have some points I took with a basic GPS, they include altitude data; since it is for school, I dont need that too much precision; anybody knows how to translate that to autocad or land desktop or any software so I can get the contour lines? Can somebody help me get started drawing those contour lines? Im looking over the internet but I cant get started... please if anyone can Thanks
no it wont help you a whole lot in IT and if your not good at math i wouldnt recommend civil engineering.
also its important to ask yourself more above being good at math versus enjoying math because there is a lot of it in civil engineering. a lot of people may not be good at math but enjoy it and you can still learn it well if your of average intelligence, it will just take you longer.
