A few of the issues are: LOL allows people to believe the wigs are for cancer kids. False. They are for people with alopecia (a non-fatal disease). They don't give the wigs away; they sell them. LOL receives MANY more hair donations than they use; the vast majority of the donated hair is sold! Etc., etc.

Save it as a keepsake or donate it to another organization. Just google hair donations. But avoid Locks of Love.
