If Benny the Jet were young and in his prime today, there is no doubt he'd be the world UFC champion in his weight division.As well as being the greatest pound for pound kick-boxer in history,he has a black-belt in judo and he has trained grappling forever with his best friend Gene Lebell.

He's a judo black belt. Of course with anyone who is too old/dead to compete we can only speculate whether they would have success in mma today, but all things considered I think he could very much have held his own in modern mma. He was a world class striker with good judo. Maybe he wouldn't be champ or anything but he'd definitely be in the top tier of mma strikers.

He is a very accomplished grappler.

He actually finished a bout in a slam in fact.

Also, he is amazing striking wise, not sure where "pretty good" comes from.

He isn't just accurate, he has power.

It might not be as obvious from the video, but that kick has broken many a fighters ribs, and ended a few fights of his as well.
