The Kanex XD converts a 720p video source with audio to Mini DisplayPort. With this, users of a 27-inch iMac or 27-inch Apple LED Cinema Display can view content from HDMI devices. This is idea for XBox, Playstation 3, Bluray players, set-top box, etc. Ideally, this device would eliminate the need for a TV in a bedroom, office, or dorm room, for example.

At the Apple Store, you can buy a Moshi Mini DP to HDMI Adapter with sound, full HD. I don't know if it works in the same way, as that dongle.

I've searched every and I cant seem to find a clear answer. Im trying to find out if this will work for a mac book mini with the thunderbolt port? I've only seen that it will work with the mac monitors and iMac.
