Crisis Core Dub Parody: Chapter Eleven

I uploaded this late because I slept until almost 1:00.

This is actually one of my favorite chapters of CCDP, even though I didn't like the original version in the game. The script wasn't changed much, but it still came out cool, thanks to the voice acting talents of elderblackpuddin and Up_Lift.

The chapter starts out with Sephiroth in Nibelheim, that famous FF7 scene. If no one can understand, Sephiroth is saying "Why aren't I not talking about this?" Which is why Zack reacts with "Double negatives is make head explosion."

Crap, I forgot to fix that Susie went off the screen. Well whatever. I'll fix it in the future chapters. Yes, we renamed Jenova as Susie. You can thank elderblackpuddin for the epic idea. :D

The whole deal with Sephiroth explaining how the soldiers are made is almost unchanged--except we made it so that specifically Hojo's mako energy is put in them (which, if you know FF7, doesn't make any sense).

...is anybody else sick of those squeaks or is it just me?

3:10 WOW, ZACK, ARE YOU BLUNT OR WHAT?

Sephiroth's monolgue from 3:20 to 4:15 was performed incredibly. Kudos, Up_Lift.

The audio at 3:55 to 4:05 was from the original FF7 cutscene, since I have to take away all the audio to remove the voices.

I came up with the idea of "Would Square kill off this face so easily?" long before I actually started the dub. xD

elderblackpuddin is a ton better than the original actor, but not quite as good as the Japanese. Either way, he did an amazing job in this chapter. Especially from 5:00 to 5:25 (my second favorite part of the chapter).

"Help me, Sephiroth. You're my only hope." Star Wars much? XD

"Sephiroth, you are the product of all our failures: Perfection!" was elderblackpuddin's original line. And might I say it came out a lot cooler than I thought it would, mostly because of the incredibly dynamic way he performed it.

Sephiroth's last dialogue in there is my favorite part of this chapter.

"After I offered him my apple?" is a reference to our original Advent Children dub, which must never see the light of day again. We're redubbing it for Advent Children Complete, when it comes out in May.
