The game only uses about 100 megabytes of ram so any card over 256 megs will be fine.

I have two ATi 4650s one is AGP DDR3 the other is PCix DDR2.
The DDR2 speed was 400 (effective 800)
The DD3 speed was 650 (Effective 1300)
The DD3 gets about 10-15 more fps. I had the core speeds the same. at 650.
If I don't use FSAA it gets a A score at 1024 rez. At 1280 it gets 58 fps but scores a B.
It does play better on a dual core but a single core A64 plays it plenty fast.
