  • I'll just say this. Since I've left the "church" (I mean the numerous visible organizations that call themselves churches), I've learned more about God and His truth than ever before. We need to teach the bible. Teach what sin is. Preach the Gospel. Teach who God is, & what He expects of us. Look at all areas of our lives thru what the Bible says (not popular teachers). Now I fellowship in a man's home. The Spirit leads. It's wonderful. I'm knowing others, & am being known, even as He knows me.

  • Please brothers and sisters, share this with everyone !

  • pw, you are a good speaker............... explain to us ISAIAH2:22

gospel? is all what is written in the new testament, it is the new covenant, the commandments, and the things written in it. that is the gospel, not that simple gospel. there is mystery in it which is not known to the world the doctrines of God is written in the gospel.

salvation is not faith alone and repentance, there things to be added to our faith with works when you are called to serve God.

pw is really a good speaker

  • @deno We'll have to agree to disagree on the "weight" PW puts on things. When he says that praying a sinner's prayer does not make one a Christian, he is correct, and his love for the Gospel is cool. I think we're on different pages here - you're interpreting him as describing those leaving the church (literally) that they belong to, while I'm interpreting it as people leaving Christianity altogether. I'd have to speak to you face to face to really understand where you're coming from. Good luck.

  • @Lion3Lamb Its the weight PW puts on this. Its overblown. PW is absolutely wrong to hang the failures of the church on inauthentic conversions. It is NOT the reason people arent staying. They are not staying most often because there is NO LIFE, and they are SICK of DEAD RELIGION. For many, they are absolutely better off staying home.

  • @denoinwa Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you-- unless indeed you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5

  • @Lion3Lamb I can agree that false conversions do happen, as I said before. I do not in any way whatsoever think the solution to "carnal Christianity" is an anal exam looking for conversion authenticity. He says to trust in "the work of God in you." The Bible does not teach this. This is a recipe for disaster among new believers whose faith is already weak and are in dire need of assurance and the promise. When Christ is preached, we need an absolute faith that the Holy Spirit is working.

  • @denoinwa You say that some of it isn't true. I'm wondering if you could direct me to that incorrect part. I understand your point that you believe what he points out isn't relevant; but to say that "people thinking that they are Christian after praying a prayer once are mistaken" is not a problem is completely different from saying that the statement is false. (I'm assuming here that you don't disagree, since I'm sure you know people who have prayed the prayer, and left Christianity later.)

  • @Lion3Lamb I guess you didnt read,"As far as that extends to American Christianity." Hello? And, you dont prove a thing based on your experience, except to yourself. And yeah, I did listen to the whole video, and some of it is true. Some of it isnt. I am glad you have converted from false Christianity. That is great.

  • @denoinwa By letting you know what is happening in churches on the west coast, I’ve proven that your initial assertion that it’s just “the Southern Baptist denomination” is wrong. By going further and letting you know that myself and many friends have been saved from the false Christianity you say is “not the problem” I disprove that point also. I also doubt that you watched the video: Washer spends more than half the sermon talking about the Gospel, grace, and God’s magnificence.
