@MewPheebee the writ of habeas corpus is basically saying that they cant keep you locked up in jail waiting around for your trial cuz the prosecutors are wasting time looking for evidence.

im only 10..wat is habeas corpus?
-
wow this vid is full of lies
-
is this a parody?

I think they're relying on a voter base that neither knows what habeas corpus means nor able to spell it. Sadly, after "No Child Left Sentient" that's a fair bet.
America, welcome to the new 9th century.

wait a miute! When the GOP still was in power, didn't they try to get rid of the Filibuster becuase they said it was unfair and undemocratic?
-
Because it's not a funny subject. People can be thrown in jail or sent to a secret prison in Morocco to be tortured, without trial, yet they don't seem to care.

October 16, 2006, when Bush signed the Military Commissions Act. It illegally suspended Habeas Corpus - says in the Constitution that we have to be invaded or have a rebellion, and neither's happened.
Watch Olbermann talk about it:

Why do they hate the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? What do they have against the Declaration of Independence, and the American People. Could they possibly be afraid of freedom loving peoples of this country? Are these "senators" enemies of We The People, their bosses. If all of this is true, how would this relate to the definition of treason?
