Sea levels are falling. I'm not making this shit up.

• SEA LEVEL CHANGE by 2100 by most credible scientific papers and

estimates will be somewhere between -10cm and +20cm.

(The IPCC’s estimates are outliers, way off and alarmist at 30cm-80cm+)

There is a lot of supporting evidence including;

Current satellite data from Jason 1+2, and ENVISAT; Sea levels are currently FALLING at 2.5mm/year.

(The trend from 1992 to now, is heading for an 8cm rise in sea levels by 2100)

@1000frolly I agree, but to be fair, sea levels ARE rising. The important thing to note is that this rising is nothing new or unusual. Sea levels have risen for 19 of the last 20 millennia, and often much faster than they are now. The only time they went down was during the 2 millenium BC. Rising sea levels are thought to be the natural, latent effects of the end of the ice age.
