--x--Broken Xroads--x-- First Minute Preview

[UPDATE] BX IS NOT AN ANIMATED SERIES. VISIT MY CHANNEL~

Okay everyone. This just goes to show you that I am working on BX! This is the first minute (maybe) of Episode 1. Yes, Kenryoku might have talked back, but unfortunately I have yet to find the perfect Ken voice xO It really sucks... but Ken is the silent type anyway, so I suppose it's alright.... for now ;)

This is an example of many things. First, the background music. I have been searching and searching for background music to eventually find myself with many choices. This one is by Chrono Cross, called "Prisoners of Fate." Also, the sound effects of thunder and rain. AND the different elemental effects that I've gotten better at, such as the very faint swirling fog, the thunder, and the rain. And of course... one of my prouder achievements... the use of chroma keying with a green screen and blue screen (for Ken and Fell, they must use a blue screen... both of their eyes are green xD)

I also wanted to ask a question. Should I do lip syncing? Or should I just have them talk with no lip movement? Of course, for me the easier way would be the second... but let me know your honest opinion.

So feel free to criticize, but do it in a professional way please =] I want to know your opinions so I can make BX better for everyone. Thanks.

Made me kinda sad actually, poor Kenryoku's eyes.

And I think you could acheive with them not moving their mouths while speaking. Like you said, it would be much easier on yourself, and many films I've seen were successful without specifically making animals move their mouths.

Yes... it is supposed to be kind of sad. But what happens in the end is quite satisfying =]

Yes about the lip syncing.... hmm.... I'm still contemplative though. Meh... haha

i think you should do lipsincing because what i find when watching videos where they don't lipsinc or even move their mouths it sometimes seems hard to tell who is talking (even if the voices are different) plus you would have to do more body movement if you are to not do lipsincing because that way you can tell who is talking. Especially for the gasp, her mouth should be open showing her surprise. Plus i just love seeing those lovely fangs <3 but that's my opinion and i think BX will be GREAT!
