Bigbot Smash is an action-packed game where you control a massive robot to smash up human cities in 3D. The app will be available for iOS devices.
Some features:
- Smash/blast/stomp buildings to make them explode, crumble, and collapse
- Stomp on, incinerate, and blast puny humans who come in unending numbers
- Upgrade your robots with different weapons, armor and equipment
- Gameplay in 3 different modes: main campaign, speed demolition, and survival
Coming in late November 2011.
Technical:
- Uses the Cocos3D engine
- For iOS devices. iOS 4.3 or higher required on devices.
- Retina display supported for iPhone and iPod touch devices which support it
- Fullscreen native mode for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch
Soundtrack to video is "Ropocolypse 2" by Kevin Macleod under the Creative Commons By Attribution 3.0.

@thebeast977 What kind of beginner are you? Totally new to programming as well as 3D modeling? Maybe try Unity3D. If you already know Objective-C (the main programming language for iOS), or have worked with cocos2d, then try cocos3d. If you're totally new to programming and are just going for 2D, try Ansca's Corona framework.

I will buy it. i love the overhead "3d" mode that uses the accelerometer.. very cool
