Protesters from the Islamic political group Hizb ut-Tahrir have demonstrated in front of the Turkish embassy in London. This after the arrest of over 200 of their colleagues across Turkey. The demonstrators said the activists were peacefully calling for an Islamic state to be re-established in Turkey. Hizb ut-Tahrir has been banned in Turkey since 2004 after a court branded them a terrorist organisation. Roshan Muhammed Salih reports from London.

  • Interesting comment. I agree with the part about the British govt being cowards, given the Iraq/Afghanistan war and all the civilians that have been killed as a result. I dont think you can say that this is a terrorist organisation however, especially as they are no violent and they hold public debates, seminars etc etc

  • My God, Britain has gone mad. It is overflowing with Islamic extremists and has now started exporting them to the rest of the world. Turkey has done totally right in arresting them - the terrorists of Hizb ut Tahrir, and idiotic UK might try to get them freed. Cowardly British.

  • bilgilendirme için Allah razı olsun. İnşallah islam hakim kılınacak.
