children don't choose their sexual orientation. trust me, I know stuff about this. I never chose to be gay, and I don't know any of the many gay/lesbian people I know. Never at any point did choice factor into it. We didn't choose to be gay, we just... are.

I mean, when did YOU wisely choose to be heterosexually oriented? Probably before 18, right? What if your school taught you that some people are gay, & that's OK?
