Day[9] Daily #400 P4 - Special Episode! - Eliminating Assumptions

Rather than look specifically at SC2 today, we're going to review the idea of eliminating assumptions. Assumptions are some of the most powerful obstacles to problem solving, polluting the thinking process without even being apparent. By reviewing some examples and creating a structure of self-examination, hopefully we can weed out those pesky assumptions from poisoning our quest to be awesome! :D

Also Day9, about the stone program thing, could it be the other guy's program is better?

Because it's like you are saying it's better to keep harassing and keep his econ down than build up your own econ to the point you can overwhelm the other player. But as we know both works and it all come down to player skill in the end.

The two strategy, what's the difference? Sure the second one lose to a 4 gate, but the first one lose to a pure econ play from P, he can double expand easily when you place down 5 bunker.

Humans are the most intelligent animals on earth. No discussion about that. Of course you can use an uncommon definition of intelligence, but by the common definition of it clearly the human wins.

Humans are doing the same thing now as 70 000 years ago.

Humans are very much still controlled by emotions and basic instincts. Such as greed, hate, love, and above all fear, etc..

Because humans can make cars doesn't make us intelligent.

Even monkeys can make cars if taught to.

Btw other animals do have language too. google it !
