These nightmares sequences still scare the crap out of me. The nightmare sequences in the sequel (much as I prefer that game) don't compare to how terrifying these ones are.

Interestingly enough, one of my friends showed me a neat Alexandrian solution to the blood labyrinth in the nightmare sequence: The entrance and exit of the labyrinth are actually only a jump away from each other. If you don't feel like drawing out the sequence, try it out!

The blood trails in the nightmare sequence quickly turned my fear in to frustration, max's falling scream neatly mirroring my own.

i love the nightmare part.... the red vein part took me forever to do tho... kept dieing..... well of course it was also cuz i was like 9 and now i am 15 so xD lol
