Nice video of kids who are placed in a room with one marshmallow. The adult tells the child that they can either eat the marshmallow now or wait until they come back and as a reward, the child would receive another marshmallow for their patience. Simple.

This is actually a test that was done approx 30 yrs ago. They followed the kids in the test and found them to be more successful, more self controlled with less of them using drugs or exhibiting bad behavour. Very interesting study... worth googling.
