Congressman Ron Paul gives an opening statement and questions Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke at the semi-annual Humphrey-Hawkins hearing before the House Financial Services Committee.

The hearing was held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 10 a.m. in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building and was titled "Monetary Policy and the State of the Economy."

follow history, follow the trails. how many "prophets" have voiced out an apocalyptic event that is to be followed by peace? how many "prophets" have claimed that their religion was the key to spiritual salvation and then killed in the name of? how many times does this vicious cycle need to repeat, before you see that religion is also manipulative and oppressive? and i honestly cant say, ive thought that myself, but we also live in times where the global awareness level has risen significantly.
