someone explain to me how this isn't tots crap... what does this do? This is alien... not the human condition.

@altingskamatow these are exercises for actors originally devised by grotowski and his lab in the 60s. they are like scales for musicians or bar exercises for ballet dancers. they are intended to prepare the actor for rehearsal/performance. cieslak explains this. you should ask yourself what exactly you mean by "the human condition" and whether or not you actually mean some other more specific phrase. these are humans doing these things so i don't understand how it is "alien" as you call it.
